You are my people and I'm yours

Reviewed Self is a love letter from me to the perpetually curious, the self-reflectors, the ones who care about who they are becoming.

Me and you, we spend a lot of time trying to make sense of the world – but we easily forget about the center of each of our universes – ourselves. You are your own main reference point. Are you treating yourself that way?

How well do you know yourself – truly.

Do you know how you respond to setbacks? Do you know how life’s most joyous occasions impact you? What type of ripples the things that happen to you create in your life.

What difference would it make if you were better prepared for life’s after effects? If you knew to be on standby with gentleness, cheer, rest, humor, tissues or champagne.

What if you knew when to push through, take a day off or call a friend based on real life observation of yourself.

You find that kind of knowledge by looking inwards. By observing what you do and how you react naturally, over time.

Reviewed Self is a hand crafted tool, designed to help you know yourself better without requiring perfection from you. A half-assed effort will still bring you useful insights about yourself and your universe.

As you dive deeper, I’ll be right there with you as a friendly guardrail on your journey towards yourself.

During that journey I hope you find compassion, admiration and appreciation for all that you are. I hope you surprise and delight yourself. I hope you become the expert on you – that you become your own oracle.

    Why I created Reviewed Self

👋 Hi, I’m Janet Alexandersson— founder, lawyer, and lifelong reflector.

I built Reviewed Self because I needed it too. After two decades as a self-employed lawyer and perpetual side business owner, I realized the biggest breakthroughs didn’t come from pushing harder — they came from pausing, paying attention, and reviewing with intention.

Personally, I’ve rebuilt my life more than once. I’ve walked away from work that didn’t serve me, relationships that asked me to shrink, and expectations that left no room for who I truly am.

This was never easy, but reflection has helped me find clarity when everything was uncertain. It gave me the courage to stop performing and choose my own way of living.

I know what it’s like to need a framework that lets you feel seen while giving you space to grow — not someone else’s blueprint, but your own evolving map.

    Image

I looked for a system that could hold all of that — the nuance, the depth, the growth — and I couldn’t find one. So I made it.

This isn’t just a system — it’s a way to honor what matters most and shape a life on your terms. Not just productive, but purposeful. Not just organized, but honest.

Reviewed Self is for those of us who want to build something sustainable — not just in our work, but in how we live and relate and recover.

Who doesn’t like a good shortcut? Reflections prompt you to go deep into a specific area of your life and help you build roadmaps, evaluate your current state, or envision a different way of being.

    Agency Owner

As a founder, I’m always optimizing systems—for clients, for our agency, for growth. What I wasn’t doing was applying that same level of structure to how I reviewed my own decisions.

Reviewed Self helped me slow down and zoom out. It gave me a framework to actually notice how life moved through me—what stuck, what changed, and what patterns emerged. The insights I got from tracking Level Events over time was wild. I’ll be using this every month from now on.

As someone who's navigated both global corporate teams and solo creative work, I thought I knew how to review and reflect. Reviewed Self helped me go deeper. It gave me a clear lens to track my growth, reconnect with my values, and actually see how my decisions ripple out over time.

For the first time, reflection feels like part of my creative process—not a separate thing I ‘should’ do.
