Let's bring your insights to life

Now that you have completed your review, let's turn your insights into action. Valuable insights drive change or shedding. Giving them a test drive will let you know if they are a good fit in the long run.

Let's start by making space for your insights. Make a list for each of the steps below.

  • What do you need to do more?
What do you need to add?
  • What do you need to do less?
What do you need to subtract?
  • What should there be none of?
What do you need to remove?

Before you start making a plan for how to implement the items on your list, move on to Identity Over Habit.

It is easier to change your identity than to change a habit. So let's ponder a few question about what identity changes your insights could bring you.

  • What behaviors or habits do you need to change?
  • What type of person behaves the way you want to behave?
  • What do they believe about the world and themselves?
  • What actions do they take regularly and automatically?
  • What do they do when under stress?
  • What do they get satisfaction from?
  • What identity matches your insights best?
  • How will you remind yourself of your new identity?

Your goal is to walk away with a tangible reminder of your identity shift.

This could a note you look at before making decisions, a revamp of your work routine, or a reminder to take regular breaks.

Whatever it is, let it become a part of you and your life.
